Babies to Blame for Bad Environment?

An environmental wackjob, psychobabble for clinically insane environmentalist, murdered her child ten years ago because he/she would be damaging to the environment. Now she has had her tubes tied so that she cannot bring in another hurtful baby into an already damaged environment. The best I can say is at least she has removed her stupidity from the gene pool. Now if only she would stop trying to verbally spread her illness. Our only hope is that House can find a cure for her before it is too late.

Is that our only hope? I don't think so. I also doubt calling someone a "cut-throat bitch" is a good solution. It rarely works.

By the way, I am pro-life myself. Just to make that clear.

While House will never win the Best Bed-Side Manner Emmy, he does tend to find a solution to the problem.

I suspect, I wasn't offended much because I took it as a play on the current happenings in the show where everybody has received such lackluster nicknames.

IIRC, "cutthroat bitch", or something very close to it, was an actual nickname used on the show. House programmed the cell number of the very competitive doctor into his phone under that name. So, yeah, like Dr. Luther, I wasn't particularly offended by it since it was a close match to the show. Not polite, to be sure, but not pulled out of thin air either.

42...I guess we should be glad they didn't call her a c***t in the show!

Look, here's my main point. What are we, Baptist now? This finger-pointing at some woman in the papers, with the "Look at this SINNER!!!" thing going on. Oh, please. If someone is really a pastor, and the goal is to open the hearts of the world to Christ out there, just tone that down.

That's my opinion, because I used to have these people screaming at me, at coffee shops and the like, and it did no good at getting me to Christ. It delayed me, if you want to know the truth. But, that's my opinion, from the other side of the fence, and maybe people aren't interested in that as the main goal. Which is too bad.

LL, we have all been on the receiving end of "You Sinner!!!!" particularly if one hangs out in debate boards. I can't tell you the number of times bapticostals have questioned my salvation for upholding the doctrine of the means of grace.

It is true that if one's goal is to bring about repentance one should refrain from labeling a person "cut-throat B****." House M.Div is not attempting to do that rather he is attempting to editorialize in the abrasive fashion of Gregory House MD. Did he go too far in carrying on as House? Probably, but this really isn't the place to be airing grievances about House M.Div. I know you have already commented to an extent on House M.Div's blog, but I would advise you as the offended party to "talk" with him. It can't hurt.

Well, please forgive me if I stepped on anyone's toes. The other board is moderated, and my comments do not go further because of that. There is no communication with the "character".

I figured since you linked it on your page, it was open for comments, as far as how Lutherans condemn or don't condemn.

God Bless, I will refrain from discussing this any further with anyone, I already received the guidance I needed. Thank You.
